Twelve UHF RFID, barcode, and NFC integrations shipped against Chainway, Zebra, and Sunmi devices already on the desk — Android and .NET backends included. Each case study covers the actual problem, what was tricky, and a measured result.

The reader wasn't the reader — a minerals inspection app on an unbranded UHF handheld
A minerals inspection company in Belgium was scanning RFID tags and reading raw hex. We replaced that with an app that shows the lot, the mineral and the location on the pull of a trigger — after discovering the device was not the reader the project had been scoped around.

Chainway C72
Inventory counts from 4 hours to 11 minutes — Chainway C72 + Odoo, 8,000-SKU warehouse
A distribution warehouse ran cycle counts by hand against 8,000 SKUs. A Chainway C72 bulk-read pipeline with server-side dedup cut a 4-hour count to 11 minutes and posted adjustments straight into Odoo.

A one-scan RFID encoding station — Zebra ZD621R, 1,200 labels/day
A labeling line encoding 1,200 RFID tags a day was losing time to manual verification and silent void handling. A ZPL ^RF encoding station with an inline verify-read cut operator touches to one per label.

Fixed-asset audits across 3 sites — Zebra RFD40 + .NET backend
A company auditing fixed assets across three sites replaced a clipboard-and-barcode process with a Zebra RFD40 Bluetooth sled paired to a TC21, feeding an ASP.NET Core API that reconciles reads against the asset register.

NFC membership check-in at the counter — Sunmi V2S, retail chain
A retail chain wanted membership check-in at the counter without a separate card reader. An NTAG213-based loyalty card read through the Sunmi V2S's built-in NFC SDK ties into checkout and prints a loyalty line on the receipt.

Zebra FX9600
Reading pallets at the dock door — Zebra FX9600 + LLRP middleware
A distribution center needed to know which pallets crossed a dock door, and in which direction, without a scanner in anyone's hand. A fixed Zebra FX9600 reader with LLRP middleware infers direction from read-order and antenna geometry.

A 3PL warehouse needed barcode picking against ERPNext without maintaining custom scanner SDK code. DataWedge profiles on Zebra TC21 handhelds turn scans into keystrokes straight into the picking screen, provisioned centrally across the fleet.
